To support the goals of a 21st Century education, Andasol is supported by the LAUSD Instructional Technology Initiative, whose goal is the transformation of educational experiences for students utilizing technology in the classroom. Andasol is designated as a 1:1 school. Every student from kindergarten to 5th grade is provided with an electronic device to use while they are at school.
Technology-based applications are integrated into curriculum and projects as tools for engaged and personalized learning experiences. Digital age instructional frameworks are used to develop and design instructional models and support for students. Students learn to be responsible and informed digital citizens.
The following resources guide our efforts at Andasol:
International Society for Technology in Education Standards
