Mustang Fund

Help the PTA help our school by making a direct donation to the Mustang Fund! Every dollar makes a direct impact.
The 2020-21 Fundraising Target is to help provide PPE and other safety supplies when classrooms reopen. As always, we work with the school administration to best support our teachers and the Mustang Community each year.

What is the Mustang Fund?
The Mustang Fund is a dedicated annual fundraising campaign with a chosen target each year. Originally created to support a $50,000 grant we received from the City of Los Angeles, each year the PTA chooses a project to tackle through fundraising that benefits all students at Andasol. Each year, a new project is selected and approved by members.
What have we purchased with the Mustang Fund?
In 2019, after receiving a $50,000 grant from the City of Los Angeles, we purchased 7 Promethean panels for classrooms, 14 mobile carts for our 1:1 Technology Initiative devices, and a musical staff white board for our orchestra program. With remaining funds, we will begin to refurbish the benches around our school yard. The Mustang Fund was created to help pay for costs not covered by the grant, such as labor and installation costs.
In 2019-20, the Mustang Fund is earmarked to bring in school assemblies. In the past, the PTA has brought in Hoop it Up and the GeoDomes from the California Science Center. We look forward to keeping up this tradition with another science or performing arts presentation for all our students!
What's next for the Mustang Fund?
Tell us if there's a project you think the Mustang Fund can support that would benefit the whole school!
Thank you for donating generously to the Andasol PTA through the Mustang Fund!
