(These guidelines are based on what Andasol School sends out each year but modified for a virtual event.)

  • Costumes may not be demeaning to any ethnic group, race, religion, nationality, handicapping condition, gender (boys as girls and vice versa), or individual (staff or student) at the school.
  • No revealing or frightening costumes (bloody monsters, French maids, nightwear, bathing suits, no scary bloody clowns, etc.).
  • Costumes must not be too short or reveal too much (parents, remember that all costumes must be elementary grade level appropriate).

  • Students may only wear masks that will allow the judges to clearly see the student’s eyes.

  • No weapons of any kind.

  • If parents are dressing up, all the rules apply to their costumes too!

Hello Mustang Families!

You may have heard that we planned a Drive-by Treat and Greet event around our beautiful school. Unfortunately, LAUSD is not allowing car parades and so, we had to cancel our plans. We're really disappointed and we know many of you will be as well.

We miss all of you and we'll keep looking for other ideas to safely see other. For now, we hope you'll join us for the pumpkin carving contest and virtual costume parade! Lots of prizes to give away!!
All event details are subject to change.
